In Friday’s edition of New Rules, Bill Maher went on a tirade about the political correctness that plagues our nation today. He said the democratic party has “gone from the party that protects people to the party that protects feelings . . . from ‘ask not what your country can do for you’ to ‘you owe me an apology.’”
Maher implied that liberals were so busy patrolling and policing anyone that they didn’t agree with or found “offensive” that they merely lost focus on the election and lead Trump right into the White House.
He went on to highlight some of the insane things that celebrities apologized for last year.
Steve Martin tweeted a thoughtful goodbye to his friend, Carrie Fisher after she passed away only to be shamed into deleting the tweet after backlash from fans who claimed it was “sexist.”
Justin Timberlake received the wrath of the political correctness crowd for saying that he was inspired by Jesse Williams’ speech at the BET awards. His tweet stated he was inspired by Williams for bringing awareness to racial issues and racial justice. However, the loony PC liberals didn’t think Timberlake should comment on race since he is a white male singer appropriating “black” music and culture.
I apologize to anyone that felt I was out of turn. I have nothing but LOVE FOR YOU AND ALL OF US.
