Barack Obama only has two days left before he will be forced to leave the White House and hand over power to Donald Trump. Now, it’s been revealed that Obama is planning to leave Washington D.C. immediately after Trump is inaugurated to head on yet another vacation.
Conservative Tribune reported that Obama is planning to force the American taxpayers to pay for his lavish vacations one last time by flying to Palm Springs, California on our dime hours after the election.
Immediately after Trump is sworn in, the Obama family will head to the Andrews Air Force Base to board Special Air Mission 29000, which is the plane the president would normally use as Air Force One but is not designated as such when the active president isn’t on board.
“The president vowed to take his family to a destination that is warmer than Washington, D.C., on Friday and Palm Springs fits the bill,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said on Tuesday. “This is a community that the president has visited on a number of occasions as president of the United States. He and his family have enjoyed the time they’ve spent there in the past. And they’re looking forward to traveling there on Friday.”
Unfortunately for the Obamas, however, they will have to pay for their own transportation back to Washington D.C. when they move into their multi-million dollar Kalorama mansion.
