Fox News host Bill O’Reilly made a major announcement this week when he revealed that he will be sitting down with incoming President Donald Trump for his third interview with him just before the Super Bowl.
Daily Mail reported that O’Reilly will interview Trump during the pregame segment for the match-up at 4pm eastern time on Sunday, February 6. He had previously interviewed Barack Obama before the Super Bowl in 2011 and 2014.
“Fox News Channel is happy to announce that on Super Bowl Sunday at 4 PM eastern, your humble correspondent will interview President Donald Trump,” a statement on O’Reilly’s website read. “Tonight we’ll tell you what kind of questions will be put to Mr. Trump and what we’re expecting from the exchange.”
During his show on Tuesday night, O’Reilly reflected on his 2014 interview with Obama.
“As you’ll remember I did this back in 2014 and it was very controversial because I pushed the President on a number of issues including the terror attacks at Benghazi,” O’Reilly said. “Now this time around I expect to ask President Trump a number of policy questions, but also and this is intriguing to me, how he’s processing his amazing achievement.”
“A man with no political experience, winning the most powerful office in the world, is he reflective at all?” he added.
