Ever since Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump in the presidential election, she has been whining that she only lost because Russia hacked the election and rigged it against her. Clinton’s liberal minions followed her lead and demanded an investigation into just what the Russians did in 2016 despite the fact that there was no evidence to support the hacking allegations.
Now, Clinton and her fellow liberals may regret calling for such an investigation, as South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy has been given a position on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
“The House Intelligence Committee plays a vital role in protecting Americans both at home and abroad through conducting thorough oversight of our nation’s intelligence agencies. I look forward to joining the House Intelligence Committee and working with Chairman (Devin) Nunes and my colleagues to ensure national security remains the top priority in the 115th Congress,” read a statement on Gowdy’s website.
Conservative Tribune reported that Gowdy is known for his investigation into the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya. If he starts leading the Russia hacking investigation, there’s no doubt he will work tirelessly to find the truth. There’s also no doubt that he won’t be doing any favors for Clinton.
We’re glad to know that Clinton won’t be able to influence the investigation into these hacking allegations if one were to take place. What do you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
