Over the past year, the liberal media has tried to make Donald Trump’s supporters look like racist and violent extremists. However, what just happened to singer Jennifer Holliday after she signed on to perform at Trump’s inauguration proves that it’s really liberals who are the violent ones.
Smoke Room reported that Holliday told The View on Tuesday that she chose to back out of the inauguration concert after she received “death threats from black people.”
“I got the call on Wednesday night [to perform], then Friday morning I woke up and there was this whole thing of terrible tweets and things on my Instagram,” Holliday said. “We hadn’t really finalized everything yet and my publicist said, ‘People want to talk to you.’ I live a pretty reclusive life and then one morning you wake up and everyone hates you. I was like, what could I have possibly done to have these things thrown at me?”
“I’m an artist and I love America,” she said. “It just didn’t dawn on me. I performed for four other presidents. I didn’t think anything of it.”
“I didn’t call them up,” the singer said of the cancellation. “I just sent an email and said it had gotten out of hand. I was receiving deatht threats at this point. I was receiving death threats from black people, the N-word from black people. They were saying they were going to kill me.”
When host Joy Behar asked how she knew it was black people threatening her life, Holliday fired back by saying, “because I looked.”
“I read everything. At first I said, ‘Are these white people just messing with me? I’m going, ‘Oh my God, these are black people calling me this. They were saying I should kill myself,” she said.
