Amid a torrent of opposition from disgruntled Americans, one friend of the U.S. has come out in support of the wall along our southern border. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he has had personal experience with a border wall decreasing his country’s illegal immigration problem and he thinks this is a good decision for the American people.
President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu began creating a rapport within days of the President taking office, both parties making it clear that they plan to strengthen the alliance between Israel and the U.S. This will be a welcome change of pace for Prime Minister Netanyahu after repeatedly clashing with former President Obama. He had this to say about the election.

President Trump has already extended an invitation to his Israeli counterpart to come visit the White House in February.
Prime Minister Netanyahu took to Twitter to show his support of President Trump’s decision to go ahead with the wall.
He wrote “President Trump is right. I built a wall along Israel’s southern border. It stopped all illegal immigration. Great success. Great idea,” he wrote, with images of the Israeli and American flag.
