Donald Trump’s inauguration is just three days away. Now he’s revealed just what he plans to do after his historic inauguration.
During an in depth interview with the Times of London, Trump said he plans to take the weekend after his inauguration off. Mediaite reported that Trump explained his first day as president will actually be Monday.
Trump also discussed with the British publication why he thinks Brexit happened, saying that people want stronger borders and discussing how he’d address that on his first day.
“People don’t want to have other people coming in and destroying their country and you know in this country we’re gonna go very strong borders from the day I get in,” Trump said. “One of the first orders I’m gonna sign – day one – which I will consider to be Monday as opposed to Friday or Saturday. Right? I mean my day one is gonna be Monday because I don’t want to be signing and get it mixed up with lots of celebration, but one of the first orders we’re gonna be signing is gonna be strong borders.”
We’re glad to see that Trump is allowing himself a much-needed break after his inauguration weekend. SHARE this story if you can’t WAIT until Trump is officially our president!
