Instead, Malia is living in New York City, where she has scored a major internship with A-List Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.
Daily Mail reported that 18 year-old Malia began her internship on Monday, and sources say she will mainly be reading and pitching scripts to executives. She was photographed arriving to work on Wednesday wearing high-waisted jeans, a crop top, a sheepskin jacket and boots.
Malia reportedly spends her days at the Weinstein Company reading scripts and deciding which ones are worth being pitched to executives. The internship pays around $9 an hour and goes through the spring.
She was later seen grabbing work with a coworker.
Malia is currently on a gap year after graduating from high school last spring. She is scheduled to begin her freshman year at Harvard University in the fall of 2017.
